Do We Really Believe?

"And who is he who will harm you if you become followers of what is good? In that fight we get heated when people don't agree or adhere to what we are saying is truth. What has rudely shaken lately is the question of life. Why do I believe in life? The Feast of Trumpets

"Blow the trumpet in Zion, And sound an alarm in My holy mountain! Let all the inhabitants of the land tremble; For the day of the Lord is coming, For it is at hand... The great day of the Lord is near; It is near and hastens quickly. The noise of the day of the Lord is bitter; There the mighty men shall cry out. 15 That day is a day of wrath, A day of trouble and distress, A day of devastation and desolation, A day of darkness and gloominess, A day of clouds and thick darkness, 16 A day of trumpet and alarm Against the fortified cities And against the high towers." Today at sundown the Feast of Trumpets commenced, and what a beautiful day for this to have happened on The Lords Day! Though this is a Jewish Holiday and their Sabbath is on Saturday, the idea of this Feast to be on the Lords day for those of us who are Born Again Believers, it is special.
